WHO ARE WE

Studio Branches is a small multidisciplinary design studio working closely with materials, places, and people. We combine digital tools with local production and hands-on prototyping to create clear, functional, and sustainable designs. Our focus is on form, function, and process — without unnecessary fuss.

Our studio is currently under development and more will follow. Stay tuned or you’ll miss out!

MANIFESTO

Our design philosophy roots in our understanding of using 3D tools to visualize, develop and manufacture objects. The aim is not to use one production technique, but rather a wide plethora of methods that can get enriched by digital product development. This is the stem of Studio Branches, and the projects is where we let our project portfolio and inspiration guide our direction to grow.

We are firm believers that great design comes from both the development and production process, so we are proud to keep these two parts in-house at our lab in Torekov, Sweden.

For us manufacturing really does matter.

OUR STORY

Studio Branches is a small design studio rooted in the belief that great design comes from staying close to the process — from the first sketch to the finished object. After graduating from Lund University's School of Industrial Design in 2016, I spent years working across product, textile, and exhibition design, always with 3D modeling and visualisation as my main tools. In 2024, co-founding Manu Matters and co-designing the Jane Lamp deepened that conviction, and in 2025 Studio Branches became my own space to pursue it fully.

The studio is based in Torekov, a small coastal town in Skåne, Sweden — a move from Stockholm that quietly changed everything. The ocean, the nature, and the slower pace of the countryside have shaped how I work and what I make. We keep design and production in-house, combine digital tools with hands-on prototyping, and focus on form, function, and process. Without unnecessary fuss.

For us, manufacturing really does matter.
